Greg Landsman

Greg Landsman has served on the Cincinnati City Council since 2017 and is running against 13-term Congressman Steve Chabot in Ohio’s 1st Congressional District. After 9/11, Greg was inspired to study beyond his own Jewish faith and religion, and earned a Masters in Theology from Harvard. He went on to serve as the Ohio Governor’s Director of Faith Based and Community Initiatives, leading efforts to help houses of worship provide food programs. As a former public school teacher, Greg is a strong advocate for families and on City Council, Greg has focused on issues of housing, jobs, the climate crisis, and public safety, work that he wants to continue to be a progressive champion for in Congress. Greg is also a strong supporter of reproductive rights and LGBTQ equality. In the newly redrawn OH-01, Democrats have their greatest opportunity in decades to flip this seat—and oust Republican incumbent Steve Chabot and his total embrace of MAGA radicalism that threatens our democracy— making it a real pickup opportunity in a year that could be closer than ever.
